HomeOffice is now already commonplace for many and we have adapted our work processes, discovered new tools and redesigned the way we communicate. Without the possibility to experience the office life we were used to so far, a well-functioning project, portfolio and resource management has to be redesigned. We have therefore decided to make our PQFORCE solution accessible to all and to reinvent our flagship product to suit smaller companies: In the shape of the PQFORCE Starter Edition.
What is the Starter Edition about?
PQFORCE Starter is a cost-effective starter edition for small and medium-sized companies, but also for departments of a large company that have a certain independence and are allowed to decide for themselves which tools they use. The Starter Edition is ideal for initiating professional project and resource management. It comes pre-configured and is lean and reduced to the essential PQFORCE functionalities. It is the little brother of PQFORCE Enterprise.
You can obtain PQFORCE Starter from the cloud. From a Swiss data center certified to the highest standards. So you don't need IT to install and operate the system for you. We do that for you. This is all included in the subscription. So you can subscribe to the Starter really easily in our webshop and choose the number of resources (users) and the number of projects. If you then pay by credit card, the system will be available to you in a few moments in the selected size. So simple!
And what can I do with it?
Actually quite a lot. Although it is "only" the Starter Edition, you can create and plan projects. You can manage your employees in an organization chart and schedule them as resources in the projects - what we call allocations. Each employee can of course work as a user and report the time spent on projects and the work done, but also the absences. You receive automatic project overviews. And above all, everything runs in real time. What you previously had to painstakingly collect in distributed Excel files or ask your employees, you now have on the screen at any time at the touch of a button!
And by the way, since you might go with the trend and increasingly handle your projects agile: Of course, you can also plan with Kanban boards and TODOs in PQFORCE. Even more: In each project, you can individually determine which methodology is used - classic with a Gantt plan, fully agile with Kanban, or even hybrid.
Is this the right edition for me?
This is actually not so crucial, because you can upgrade to a higher-quality edition at any time, or even just increase the subscribed data volume. So you can easily and inexpensively get started and try it out and decide again at any time. From EUR 80 per month, you're in. And there are no cancellation periods.
