Start of a new era: INTRASOFT launches partnership program

INTRASOFT has grown strongly in the first 5 years or so since entering the market with PQFORCE and has also built up various services around the development of the cloud platform, which we have been providing ourselves until now. Now it is time to focus more on our core competencies and to drive further growth through a new ecosystem with consulting partners. Here we explain the how and why.

We have been on the market with PQFORCE since fall 2017, which is almost 5 years. In this short time, PQFORCE has established itself as a strong player in a dynamic competition and has prevailed in many evaluations, RFI/RFQ processes and public tenders. The success has given us the right to develop such a platform in Switzerland and to distribute it from Switzerland.

Until now, we at INTRASOFT have done everything ourselves: development, sales, marketing, system implementations and customer projects, as well as all system integrations. Through success, we have grown, but at the same time, the areas of work and our services have multiplied. From the pure software developer we were between 2014 and until go-to-market, we have had to constantly evolve from the 2017 launch and have built up an enormous pool of expertise in a very short time. Now it's time to get back to our core competence.

In search of partners

The knowledge of how to implement a complex B2B solution like PQFORCE in customer organizations is something we have acquired in dozens of projects with customers. We now want to pass this knowledge on to partner companies and enable them to offer such consulting and project services around the PQFORCE product themselves. Our goal for 2022 is to build an ecosystem of partner companies in various roles that we can call on for new customer projects. These partners will cover the service part to PQFORCE and offer and provide project, support and integration services to customers. This will allow us at INTRASOFT to gradually focus again on what we do best: Developing highly specialized and powerful cloud software for project, project portfolio and resource management.

Why this strategy?

The question arises: Why doesn't INTRASOFT simply expand the service business and thus create another field of competence around the product PQFORCE? Of course this would be possible and also lucrative. After all, we have actually already done this in the last 4 years, because PQFORCE as a B2B solution requires good consulting services around it. If we hadn't done that well, we wouldn't be here today. But we primarily want to do what we enjoy the most and where our passion is the greatest. And that is software engineering. And the success of PQFORCE proves us right. In addition, we still have an enormous list of expansion ideas and customer requests, so we will certainly not run out of work in the next few years.

Another reason for our partner strategy is quite simply that we can scale our business much better through a partner network and grow more quickly via the licensing business of the SaaS model. Because in this market, too, size does matter. And the competition is large and international. As a still small Swiss provider, we still have some catching up to do.

Launch with training programs starting in April 2022

We are convinced that there are already many good consulting companies around project management in the Swiss market. Companies that support their customers in finding and implementing the right PM culture and methodology. A profound know-how in common models of project management (PM) and project portfolio management (PPM) is a prerequisite for this. But a high IT affinity is also necessary. This is because PM and PPM models are generally supported by corresponding software tools during their operational introduction and implementation. And this is where the circle to PQFORCE closes again.

In this first phase, we are specifically looking for established consulting partners in German-speaking countries, i.e. companies that have been providing PM consulting and support services in the DACH market for a long time. We will train them to become PQFORCE Consulting Partners and offer corresponding training programs free of charge in April and June. In a second phase, PQFORCE Integration Partners will also be sought and trained. All partner companies and their trained employees will be certified by INTRASOFT according to their role and thus receive the qualification for high-level PQFORCE consulting services.
